BENEFITS
SYNSORB operates a Health and Welfare Trust Plan for full-time employees in lieu of a traditional benefits plan. However, we have established a group plan which offers life insurance, disability, medical/health, dental and prescription coverage for employees.
Generally, the Company will make available an amount equal to 15% of the employee's salary to be applied towards payments of benefits selected by the employee (including the group plan premiums) such as Alberta Health Insurance Plan premiums, eye care coverage, or RRSP's. Employees can also withdraw cash (on a taxable basis) from their trust account.
